Qualifications and Expertise:
- Current CCC-SLP certification
- Previous experience as a school-based SLP, preferably providing virtual/teletherapy services
- Comprehensive knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and compliance with IEP processes
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and engage with families
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech-language assessments and provide ongoing therapy for students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement customized IEP goals and interventions
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and other specialists to monitor progress and adapt strategies
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for all services provided
- Engage families to facilitate understanding and carryover of therapeutic strategies at home
