Step into a rewarding opportunity providing Occupational Therapy support to TK-8th grade students within a vibrant school community. This full-time, onsite position offers a 186-day contract starting in August and enables you to use your expertise across 2-3 school sites, impacting the lives of up to 55 students as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state OT licensure required; COTA candidates with strong school-based experience will be considered
  • Demonstrable background in fine and gross motor skill development, especially within school environments
  • Previous experience supporting students with varied physical, sensory, and developmental needs in educational settings
  • Strong skills in writing clear, actionable reports and communicating effectively with both staff and families
  • Candidates must provide 2 professional letters of recommendation and a de-identified sample report to be considered

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade, addressing fine and gross motor skill goals
  • Deliver therapy services according to IEPs, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
  • Travel between assigned school sites within the district as needed while effectively managing your caseload
  • Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and provide consultative support to school staff
  • Stay current with best practices in OT within school settings, ensuring services are evidence-based and relevant
