Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Clara, CA

Step into a rewarding contract position serving elementary and preschool students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Located near vibrant Santa Clara, CA, this opportunity is ideal for both experienced SLP-CCC professionals and enthusiastic Clinical Fellows (CFY) eager to make a difference in young lives.

In this full-time, on-site role, you’ll work 35 hours each week within a supportive school environment dedicated to helping children develop crucial speech and language skills.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility (SLP-CCC or CFY welcome)
• Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Passion for providing direct, in-person therapy; teletherapy is not available for this position
• SLPA supervision is not required at this time

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide engaging, individualized therapy to elementary and preschool caseloads
• Maintain thorough student records and document progress aligned with district or state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, consult regularly with educational staff, and offer support to families as needed
• Create and implement creative activities tailored to each child’s needs to facilitate communication growth
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal student outcomes
