Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid California speech-language pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Prior experience delivering speech/language services in a school setting preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families
  • Compassion, patience, and adaptability in addressing diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide screenings, evaluations, and individualized therapy for students requiring speech and language intervention
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation and prepare periodic progress reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development
  • Offer resources and guidance to parents, teachers, and support staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to planning discussions
