Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to guide educational planning
  • Offer support and education to classroom staff regarding communication strategies
