Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students across two vibrant school sites, serving TK through 6th grade. You’ll make a difference working with children presenting a spectrum of communication needs—from mild articulation concerns to moderate language deficits, including some requiring AAC support. Your expertise will empower students at both elementary and pre-K through middle school levels.

Full-time schedules are available throughout the regular school year, extended school year (ESY), and into the next academic year (NSY). The role offers a dynamic balance, with your week split between two welcoming campuses: work Monday through Wednesday at one site, and Thursday and Friday at the other. School 1 hours are 7:45am to 3:15pm; School 2 runs from 8:15am to 3:45pm.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and providing speech-language therapy to a diverse TK-6th student population
  • Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with mild articulation, language deficits, and AAC needs
  • Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with IEP requirements
  • Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team consultations
  • Supporting inclusive practices and promoting communication growth across the school environment

To thrive in this assignment, you should have:

  • Current licensure and certification as an SLP
  • Experience in elementary or middle school settings
  • Background in serving students with mild-moderate disabilities
  • Comfort with AAC devices and strategies preferred
  • Passion for collaborative, student-centered work

The assignment is ready for an ASAP start, running through June 11th for the current school year, with options to extend through ESY (June 17-July 17) and the following year (from August 5).
