This full-time assignment (3-4 days per week) runs from late January through the end of the school year, providing essential coverage during a maternity leave. Ideal candidates will possess one of the following credentials: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as experience with school-aged populations. Strong collaboration skills and a passion for helping students thrive are essential for success in this role.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license for the state of California
- ASHA CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
- Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEPs
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and communicate student progress to staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
