Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting an elementary school caseload. This full-time assignment (3-4 days per week) runs from late January through the end of the school year, providing essential coverage during a maternity leave. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in a vibrant educational setting.

Ideal candidates will possess one of the following credentials: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), as well as experience with school-aged populations. Strong collaboration skills and a passion for helping students thrive are essential for success in this role.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license for the state of California
  • ASHA CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged students
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEPs
  • Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments, write progress reports, and communicate student progress to staff and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
