School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Cruz, California

This full-time, contract position runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, serving a manageable caseload of 45-50 students. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
• Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
• Accepting SLP-CCC and CFY candidates
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practices
• Experience with school-aged populations preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for helping students succeed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and triennial assessments to determine students’ strengths and needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to a diverse caseload of elementary and high school students
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation for student records and IEP meetings
• Participate in school multidisciplinary teams and professional development opportunities
• Adapt therapy strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
