Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Cruz, CA

This full-time position (35 hours per week) is tailored for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about fostering communication skills in elementary and preschool students. You’ll play an essential role in supporting students’ growth and success, working exclusively onsite with an engaging and collaborative education team.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC or CFY level)
• Strong understanding of best practices in school-based speech therapy
• Experience with elementary and preschool caseloads preferred
• Ability to design innovative and effective therapy programs for diverse student populations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Interest in supporting a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Openness to candidates pursuing their Clinical Fellowship (CF); unfortunately, SLPA roles are not available at this time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with all local and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development
• Contribute positively to a supportive school culture and team environment
