This opportunity, located near the Santa Cruz, CA area, focuses on delivering speech-language services to elementary and preschool-aged students in a friendly and collaborative educational environment. The role is strictly on-site, providing hands-on support that truly enriches each child's school experience. Both Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLPs with their CCC are encouraged to apply for this opening.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active or in-process California SLP licensure
  • Eligibility for CCC-SLP or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to fostering growth and communication skills in young children

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions to elementary and preschool students on site
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation according to school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ academic and social success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student progress discussions
  • Foster a positive, welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds
