School Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Cruz, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active California SLP licensure (or eligible for California licensure)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are welcome
• Previous pediatric, elementary, or preschool experience highly desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• On-site availability during school hours (teletherapy/voco not available)
• Commitment to supporting students in a diverse, inclusive environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary and preschool students
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
• Maintain accurate records and document progress toward IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
• Consult with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
• Deliver engaging and evidence-based therapy sessions
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
