School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Santa Cruz, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist, serving students across both elementary and high school settings. This full-time role runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, providing critical support to a caseload of 45-50 students. With a schedule of 8:00am–4:30pm, you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact in an engaging educational community near the scenic Santa Cruz area.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders
• Valid state licensure, or the ability to obtain licensure for speech-language pathology
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credential (Clinical Fellowship welcomed)
• Experience working in schools preferred; supportive supervision for Clinical Fellows available
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, identify speech and language needs, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within both elementary and high school environments
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development sessions as needed
