School Speech Language Pathologist - Santa Maria, CA

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting middle school students with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This in-person position offers 37.5 hours each week, engaging with a dynamic student community in a collaborative, school-based setting.

Your primary focus will be providing assessment, intervention, and support services for middle school learners in an environment that values professional input and student progress. The role does not involve virtual or remote services and is exclusively tailored for credentialed SLPs—no need for SLPA support.

Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid licensure to practice in California (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum of two years of recent school-based SLP experience preferred
• Comfortable working exclusively in-person with middle school populations
• Experience with SEIS or similar electronic IEP systems highly desired
• Clear background and reference checks

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in middle school students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with staff and families
• Conduct both individual and small group therapy sessions onsite
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Consult with educators and parents to promote student communication development

Compensation for this position reflects advanced experience, with a rate of $125/hour for candidates bringing more than two years of applicable experience.
