This contract position spans the school year, beginning August 11, 2026, and concluding June 1, 2027, offering full-time hours and the chance to make a measurable difference every day.
You’ll work exclusively on-site at one school location, which will be specified during the interview process. Caseload assignments—including age levels—will also be detailed at that time, allowing for the right fit and professional growth.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License required
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly preferred
- Must complete or provide valid fingerprints through the AHCA Clearinghouse; eligibility for JLA badge required (processing can take up to 10 business days)
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse elementary and pre-kindergarten populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and evaluate student progress
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Maintain timely records and uphold ethical and clinical standards in a school setting
