As part of a welcoming educational environment, you have the opportunity to take on either a middle school caseload or work across two elementary school sites, tailoring your approach to diverse student needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Current state licensure or ability to obtain prior to the start date
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop creative solutions to support student progress
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language challenges
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services within classrooms and individually
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely progress reports in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations
