Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management abilities
- Collaborative mindset when working with staff, families, and students
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and therapy aligned with student IEPs
- Document progress, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding student needs
- Maintain accurate compliance with paperwork and district procedures
- Serve either a middle school caseload or work across two supportive elementary sites
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating environment for student growth
