Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license (California)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school environment highly preferred
  • Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop, implement, and update IEPs in compliance with federal and state guidelines
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy to support student communication and academic goals
  • Oversee and mentor SLPAs, ensuring fidelity of intervention and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district and legal requirements
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in multidisciplinary team activities
