Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving a vibrant community with a focus on school-age children from transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. This part-time opportunity covers one location near Solvang, CA, offering consistent support for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll start on August 7, 2026, and finish on June 4, 2027, with a total of 180 school days, plus 20 additional days before and after the academic year, totaling 1600 hours.

Key Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY credentials
  • California CTC permit required, or documentation of active pursuit (permit fee responsibility falls to candidate)
  • Proven experience in pediatric and school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
  • Comfortable managing a mixed caseload of approximately 58 students across grades TK–8
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Utilize teletherapy as appropriate to meet student needs efficiently and effectively

In addition to making a significant impact in students’ educational journeys, you’ll earn between $45 and $55 per hour for your expertise in this rewarding, school-based setting.
