Step into a rewarding contract role bringing skilled speech-language therapy to vibrant school communities near Sarasota, FL! Providing services at both a middle school and an elementary campus, you'll support students' communication needs and be part of collaborative, student-centered teams.

Role Details:

  • Full-time hours: 35 hours per week
  • Contract dates: Immediate start through May 27, 2027
  • On-site work required at Buffalo Creek Middle School (Parrish) and Prine Elementary (West Bradenton)
  • Buffalo Creek: 4-day assignment, caseload of around 50 students for direct therapy, 10 additional consult cases, serving two low cognitive units and one behavior unit
  • Prine Elementary: Support approx. 95 students (including intensive PK, ASD, Integrated PK, ESE PK, and low cognitive classes) alongside an established SLP and experienced SLPA

Your Qualifications:

  • Current, active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license (Master’s level required)
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy highly valued
  • Strong clinical and consultative skills for managing a diverse caseload
  • Confidence working with students in special education programs, including ASD and behavioral support populations
  • Collaborative spirit and adaptability for working with multidisciplinary teams
