Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure (CFY or CCC-SLP highly encouraged)
- Completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student development and inclusivity
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for varying needs and age groups
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in a collaborative summer school environment
- Assess, document, and monitor student progress toward communication goals
- Work closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough and timely session records for student interventions
- Participate in meetings as needed and contribute to planning effective speech-language strategies for students
