As a valued member of this dedicated team, you'll provide speech-language pathology services to students ages 5–21 across grades K-12 in a year-round, contract position. The school features a supportive community with just 78 students in 10 self-contained classrooms (8:1:3 staff-to-student ratio), offering a collaborative environment for delivering high-quality therapy.
Working Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, you’ll engage with a diverse group of learners, many of whom use alternative communication methods and are primarily non-verbal. You’ll have access to a dedicated therapy space and will contribute directly to students’ academic and personal growth from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY).
What we’re seeking:
- Valid license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Experience (or strong interest) in working with students with severe autism, significant cognitive disabilities, and complex behaviors
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
- Comfort adapting communication strategies for non-verbal students
- Compassion, adaptability, and strong communication skills
- Ability to effectively support students in grades K–12
