Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a single school building near Sardis, GA. This full-time position runs from ASAP until May 27th, supporting a diverse K-12 population. You’ll provide essential speech-language services to 22 speech-only students and 25 secondary students within a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in Georgia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for a speech-only caseload and secondary students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific, measurable speech-language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and success
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with school policies and regulations
- Contribute to student evaluations, eligibility meetings, and parent conferences as needed
- Offer guidance and strategies to help educators include speech and language supports in the classroom
