Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
  • Previous school-based experience is advantageous, though enthusiastic new graduates will be considered.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and complete documentation in a timely manner.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site speech and language assessments, intervention, and therapy for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress, adjust intervention strategies, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Deliver professional development and resources to school staff regarding speech and language support.
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines in all service delivery.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning atmosphere for students.
