Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development and documentation
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and interpret results
  • Create and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide input, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
  • Monitor and report progress, refining interventions as needed
  • Support professional development for staff on communication strategies
