A leading education staffing agency is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a remote contract role serving students in Minnesota schools. In this position, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders for PreK-12 students, creating individualized plans to enhance their communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to deliver therapy virtually while collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and school teams to monitor student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy via teletherapy platforms
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress regularly
Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Active or pending Minnesota SLP license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and basic technology skills including computer and webcam use
- Ability to pass technical screening and internet speed requirements
- Liability insurance coverage of $500,000/$500,000 annually
