Your expertise will be essential in delivering tailored support and empowerment for students, helping them overcome speech and language barriers and thrive academically and socially. You’ll work with both primary and secondary grade levels, serving a diverse group of learners and guiding them toward success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience delivering SLP services in school settings preferred
- Strong case management and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Competence in assessment, IEP development, and individualized therapy plans
What You’ll Do:
- Manage a total caseload of 60-70 students with approximately 30 students under your direct case management
- Assess, diagnose, and implement speech-language therapy interventions for K-12 students
- Develop individualized education plans and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and educational staff
- Promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
