In this full-time, contract role, you will provide essential speech-language pathology services, guiding K-12 learners to reach their highest potential. You’ll be joining a dedicated educational team for a position beginning in late August and extending through the end of May, making a significant impact across a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong skills in evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for a varied K-12 caseload
- Knowledge of IEP development and case management procedures
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered practice
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and progress monitoring for students ages kindergarten through high school
- Manage the cases of approximately 30 students, with a total caseload ranging from 60 to 70
- Develop IEPs and actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support students’ functional communication goals, adapting interventions for individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student inclusion and academic success
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
