This full-time position, running from September 2026 through December 2026, is located near Saugerties, NY. You’ll collaborate with education teams to help students reach their communication potential, backed by a supportive environment that includes CF supervision for those in their Clinical Fellowship Year.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state of New York
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech therapy for pediatric populations
- Comfort working with a K-12 caseload, including students with varying speech and language challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders using standardized tools
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students in group and individual settings
- Maintain detailed records and track progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary assessments
- Provide support and supervision for CFY candidates
