Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with young children in a dynamic educational setting near Saugerties, NY. This contract role provides the opportunity to support early learners (ages 3-5) across two school locations. You’ll have the benefit of spending full days at just one site, minimizing commute stress and allowing for deep engagement with students and staff. Flexibility is available for both full-time or part-time commitments; ideal candidates will enjoy collaborating and managing caseloads across both schools.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC required
  • Experience or strong interest in early childhood/preschool settings
  • Ability to thrive in a flexible, multi-site schedule (full time preferred; part time considered)
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, child-focused therapy
  • Comfort adapting to caseload size fluctuations as enrollment increases

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students ages 3-5
  • Manage student caseloads at one school per day, alternating as assigned
  • Provide approximately 10 sessions/day (Pine Plains), scaling up to 43 sessions/week (Mt. Marion) as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and IEP documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to promote student growth
  • Foster positive, supportive learning environments
