This full-time position runs from late August through the end of May, providing you the chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children and their families. Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess or be eligible for Minnesota SLP licensure
- Hold ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or be in Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
- Experience providing therapy to school-aged students, particularly K–12
- Strong skills in IEP development and management
- Knowledge of current evidence-based speech and language intervention techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessment to a caseload of 60–70 students across grades K–12
- Serve as case manager for up to 30 students, overseeing IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Prepare and maintain thorough documentation according to school and regulatory standards
- Engage with families, offering strategies and resources for students’ continued growth
