Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Saylorsburg, PA

Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment near Saylorsburg, PA. This full-time, contract position focuses on providing vital services to a diverse caseload of 36 to 42 students, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and life skills needs. Covering a maternity leave beginning November 2nd for approximately 6 to 8 weeks, you’ll contribute your expertise and make a lasting impact during a critical period.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 3:50 pm (7.5 hours/day).

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility) for PA.
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP settings.
• Background working with students with Autism or life skills support needs preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and deliver speech/language therapy to elementary students according to IEP requirements.
• Provide direct instruction for students with varied needs, emphasizing individualized approaches for those with autism and life skills goals.
• Maintain comprehensive and compliant documentation.
• Work closely with classroom teachers and special education teams to integrate therapy within the school day.
• Engage with parents and caregivers to support student progress and generalization of skills.
• Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences as needed.
