This full-time, onsite contract assignment spans approximately two months, with the potential to extend through the full academic year. You’ll work collaboratively within a supportive setting, with assistance from an SLPA, to provide exceptional care to students.

Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) SLPs eager to launch their school-based career
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Valid licensure or eligibility in the state

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication goals
  • Deliver onsite therapy sessions and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP development
  • Supervise and partner with an on-site SLPA to coordinate service delivery
  • Adapt interventions as needed to ensure each student receives personalized support
  • Participate in school meetings and team discussions regarding student needs
