We are seeking a collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a contract position located near Scarborough, ME. This opportunity offers a rewarding balance of assessment and direct therapy work, providing up to 40 hours per week across a 5-day schedule.

You’ll spend three days focused on assessment completion and comprehensive report writing, ensuring students receive the targeted interventions they need. The remaining two days are dedicated to delivering direct services, making a meaningful impact on student communication skills and academic progress.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid state licensure as required
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and writing clear, actionable reports
• Commitment to evidence-based therapy interventions

Key Responsibilities

• Complete detailed speech-language assessments and prepare timely evaluation reports (three days per week)
• Provide direct therapy services to students (two days per week)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student progress monitoring
