Step into a meaningful role supporting student communication and learning as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity is based on-site, serving an itinerant caseload at school locations in the greater Schaumburg, IL area. You’ll be working with a diverse population, with a caseload that averages around 45 students per site—well-supported by a workload model that emphasizes quality of service.

As a bilingual SLP (Spanish & English), you’ll make a lasting impact across educational environments, collaborating with educators and families to help children achieve key milestones. Your expertise will guide speech and language therapy for various age groups, contributing directly to student success.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hold both the Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement and Illinois SLP license
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • School-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Able to work full-time (37.5 hours/week), itinerant across up to two school sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in assigned students
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals according to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in parent meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students
