What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP preferred but not required
- Proficiency with various therapeutic approaches, including AAC, PROMPT, or social communication interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with educators, healthcare professionals, and families
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain thorough documentation and manage caseload responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address student needs
- Provide both group and one-on-one therapy sessions, focusing on articulation, language comprehension, and communication
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Document progress, update treatment plans, and generate reports as needed
- Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices
