Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language comprehension, and overall communication skills
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to facilitate student success
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment plans
  • Take part in meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices and new techniques

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) encouraged to apply
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but open to candidates with strong interest
  • Familiarity with AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions is a plus
  • Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
