Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Schertz, TX

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) eligibility
• Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other special education professionals, teachers, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans addressing identified student needs
• Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students across grade levels
• Participate in the IEP process, including evaluations, goal setting, progress monitoring, and meetings
• Maintain accurate therapy and documentation records in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Engage families and staff in the support of each student’s communication goals
