Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) eligibility
- Experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other special education professionals, teachers, and families
- Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and meeting the needs of all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans addressing identified student needs
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students across grade levels
- Participate in the IEP process, including evaluations, goal setting, progress monitoring, and meetings
- Maintain accurate therapy and documentation records in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Engage families and staff in the support of each student’s communication goals
