Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain in Texas
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
- Provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
