Utilize your expertise to assess, plan, and deliver dedicated speech and language interventions for diverse student populations. Assignments are determined by campus needs, with caseloads typically ranging from 35 to 62 students per SLP, or 60 to 85 for teams comprised of an SLP and SLPA. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor progress, and ensure students receive quality care.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Eligibility for appropriate state licensure
- Proven experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in school-based speech therapy
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose student speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized and group therapy sessions
- Track progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student reintegration and success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
