Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education by providing speech-language services to young learners across Carbon and Lehigh counties. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering itinerant speech-language pathology support within a preschool early intervention setting, with flexibility to serve students from PreK-12 as assignments evolve over the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
  • Valid educator credential (Instructional I or II)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based or early intervention SLP roles
  • Comfortable working onsite and traveling within assigned counties
  • Demonstrated flexibility; able to serve both preschoolers and school-age students as caseloads shift

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services in person to preschool and, if assigned, school-aged students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and program requirements
  • Provide ongoing communication and support to families and educational staff
  • Adapt to changing school assignments and caseloads as needed during the academic cycle
