Make a difference in early education by providing speech-language services across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLP-CFYs passionate about supporting young learners, with the flexibility to work with PreK through 12th-grade students as assignments may evolve during the school year. Work itinerantly across preschool early intervention programs and experience a varied, rewarding caseload.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
  • Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP License required (submit proof with application)
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate status encouraged
  • Experience or strong interest in itinerant preschool early intervention services preferred
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing school assignments, including transitions to school-age caseloads
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to in-person service; virtual options are not available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy, assessment, and intervention for preschoolers within early intervention programs, with potential reassignment to school-age students during the academic year
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to ensure student progress
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with all state and program guidelines
  • Travel between assigned sites in Carbon or Lehigh County as an itinerant provider
