An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This full-time, contract position offers a dynamic environment where you’ll support both elementary and high school students. The position is designed for professionals holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY) looking to further develop their skills. With a manageable caseload of 45-50 students, you will play a vital role in helping young learners achieve their greatest potential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC or eligible SLP-CF)
- Strong diagnostic and therapeutic skills for diverse speech, language, and communication challenges
- Previous experience in school settings (elementary and/or high school preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Compassionate, flexible approach adaptable to varied student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 45-50 students across elementary and high school levels
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain compliance with district and state standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure student progress
- Document clinical progress and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders
- Attend team meetings as required and participate in ongoing professional development
This role allows you to make meaningful connections with students while focusing on their academic and personal growth. The workday runs from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering stability and an established routine throughout the academic year.
