School Speech Language Pathologist - Scotts Valley, California

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist serving students from elementary through high school levels. This full-time position, available immediately through the end of the school year, focuses on supporting communication and language development for a diverse caseload of 45 to 50 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one
• SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials welcomed
• Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy, especially with students in elementary and high school settings
• Strong evaluation, diagnostic, and progress monitoring skills
• Proficiency in developing engaging, individualized treatment plans
• Effective communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges among students
• Develop and implement customized intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Manage, document, and monitor a caseload of 45-50 students efficiently
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Provide direct therapy services both individually and in small groups
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation aligned with district and regulatory guidelines
