Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license (CCC or CFY considered)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings
- Demonstrated skills in speech-language therapy for children with autism
- Comfortable working with a diverse caseload, including those with moderate to severe communication needs
- Experience with teletherapy platforms is valued
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, engaging learning environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to K-8th grade students within a specialized autism support program
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and compliance with IEPs
- Engage with families and staff to support generalization of communication skills
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including both in-person and virtual formats as needed
- Contribute to IEP meetings, assessments, and goal-setting for students
