A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting in Scranton, PA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work onsite with a diverse caseload, including students with autism, emotional disturbances, and multiple disabilities. The role requires a committed professional ready to contribute to the growth and development of students from various backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy to K-12 students with autism, emotional disturbance, and multiple disabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
  • Manage a caseload that is nearly at capacity, requiring strong organizational skills and time management.

Qualifications:

  • Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP preferred).
  • Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting.
  • Skills in managing diverse caseloads including students with autism and emotional disturbances.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work onsite in Scranton, PA.

Position Details:

  • Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania.
  • Schedule: 35 hours per week.
  • Contract Duration: ASAP through June 9, 2026.
  • Onsite position within a K-12 school environment.
