Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working in school settings, with children ages K-8
- Strong understanding of autistic support, emotional support, life skills support, and learning support caseloads
- Pennsylvania SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
- Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across several school sites, including K-2 and K-4 programs focused on autistic and emotional support, life skills development, and learning support
- Provide targeted, speech-only services for specified programs
- Adapt interventions to meet unique student needs in both long-term and short-term placements
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Manage and document caseload progress, maintaining compliance with IEPs and school district policies
- Support transitions between temporary and permanent caseload assignments as outlined by the school year schedule
