Make a real difference supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a K-12 educational setting near Scranton, PA. This contract position runs from August 25th to December 1st, with a strong potential for extension beyond the initial term. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families to empower children and adolescents to reach their fullest communication potential.

Your background in pediatric speech-language services, whether as a seasoned SLP-CCC or an SLP-CFY, will make a meaningful impact in school-based settings. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible Pennsylvania SLP licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Dedicated to evidence-based practice and student-focused care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement IEP goals using individualized, evidence-based strategies
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with special education regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with educators and families
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for student development
