This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in early education through elementary levels. The role is part-time for the 2026-2027 school year, providing direct speech and language services and participating in essential meetings and assessments.

Location: Seaford, Delaware
Type: Contract, Part-Time
Schedule: 2 full days plus ½ day weekly (total 2.5 days)
Duration: Start at the end of August through the end of the school year
Population: Kindergarten through 6th grade students
Caseload: Growing and dynamic, with opportunities to make a measurable impact

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to K-6 students in an in-person setting (with potential for virtual services beginning in August)
  • Conduct assessments and participate in meetings reserved for half a day weekly
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to design and implement individualized speech and language programs
  • Manage and grow a caseload while maintaining detailed documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Candidates with SLP credentials specifically in school settings are highly desired
  • Consideration given to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and Clinical Fellows (CF) with relevant school-based experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills essential for balancing direct services and administrative duties
