Make a difference supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time contract opportunity is designed with flexibility in mind—work two full days delivering direct services to K-6th grade students, and dedicate a half-day each week to essential meetings, collaboration, and student evaluations.

Qualifications we’re seeking:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the state of Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Prior experience working in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEPs and ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Creative, flexible, and compassionate approach to supporting young learners

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct therapy to K-6th grade students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams to support student success
  • Facilitate meetings, attend eligibility or IEP sessions, and manage documentation
  • Offer recommendations to inform classroom accommodation and modifications

This part-time schedule (totaling 2½ days per week) offers a unique balance—fulfilling, hands-on work with students and meaningful collaboration and planning time.
