Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Seaside, California

Qualifications:

• Active or pending state licensure as an SLP or SLPA
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required for SLP applicants
• SLP-CCC credential is an advantage, but SLP-CF candidates are encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Aptitude for working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services for students from preschool through high school
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and goal setting for student success
• Supervise SLPA staff (for qualified SLP candidates)
• Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training
