You’ll be supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade, working with a manageable caseload of approximately 35 children. The school values professionals who are committed to helping students develop their communication skills and thrive academically and socially. Bilingual skills are appreciated, though not required, making this a welcoming environment for a diverse range of candidates.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children in a school setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to needs as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Duties Include:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students in grades K-5
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals
- Engage with teachers, administrators, and families to support each student’s progress
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
