School Speech Language Pathologist - Seattle, Washington

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work with diverse school-age populations near Seattle, WA. The assignment covers the 2026-2027 school year, with the possibility of a training period the week before classes begin.

This position starts August 24, 2026, with the first day of school on August 31, 2026, and continues through June 16, 2027 (pending potential snow make-up days that could extend the term until June 23, 2027). SLPs in this role will collaborate with teams serving caseloads of approximately 50 students, potentially from pre-kindergarten through age 22. The specific location and age group assigned may vary based on district needs.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Valid Washington SLP license and ESA certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Confidence in evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapy for a range of communication disorders
• Comfort working with a varied caseload that may include students from preschool through young adults
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services and collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and report progress
• Support students’ communication goals to foster classroom success
