Providing specialized speech-language support in a secondary school setting, this full-time contract role offers an opportunity to work closely with middle school and homebound students, fostering communication development and engagement.

Contract Duration: ASAP through June 17, 2026
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, dedicated to homebound students and use of AAC devices, eye gaze technology, and related tools.
- Tuesday through Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, serving middle school students with approximately 725 minutes of direct service each month.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to middle school students addressing diverse communication needs.
- Provide specialized support to four homebound students (two elementary, two secondary) with individualized therapy plans.
- Utilize assistive and augmentative communication devices and strategies, including eye gaze systems.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to tailor intervention approaches.
- Participate in a transition period starting mid-February to ensure a smooth handoff and collaboration with the current Speech-Language Pathologist.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience with pediatric populations in school settings preferred.
- Familiarity with AAC devices and therapy for students with complex communication needs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
