Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant educational environment near Seattle, WA. This full-time contract position stretches through June 17, 2026, and offers a unique blend of experiences working with both middle school and homebound students.

Your schedule will run from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday through Friday, and Monday hours begin at 8:30 am. Spend four days each week at a middle school, and dedicate Mondays to engaging with four homebound students—two elementary and two secondary—focusing on advanced communication technologies like AAC devices and eye gaze systems. You’ll have a transition period with the current SLP starting in February to ensure you settle in smoothly.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Active SLP licensure in Washington State (or eligibility)
• Experience with AAC devices and assistive communication technology strongly preferred
• Background working in middle school and with diverse learner populations
• Ability to adapt approaches for homebound and varying grade levels
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students, approximately 725 minutes monthly
• Deliver individualized support to four homebound students, utilizing AAC and other assistive tools as needed
• Develop and implement IEPs and maintain progress documentation
• Collaborate with families, staff, and external specialists to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in professional development and school meetings
