Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience working with school-aged children across various grade levels preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students in need of support
- Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address students’ needs and promote overall academic success
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed
- Provide support and education to school staff and families to integrate speech-language development into daily activities
