Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students with diverse communication challenges
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide updates to teachers, administrators, and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in the classroom
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives
