Exciting opportunity for a contract Speech-Language Pathologist available for the 2026-2027 school year! This is a full-time, onsite position serving K-12 students. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Florida
- Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver targeted therapy to students with speech and language needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare required reports in compliance with local and federal guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ overall growth
- Assist with IEP development, progress monitoring, and ongoing communication with teachers and staff
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and progress
